Sweet Harmony" is a song by British dance act Liquid, originally released on the Liquid EP in 1991, and as a single in 1992. Song samples heavily from CeCe Rogers' "Someday" released in 1987. New remixes of the song were released in 1995, and it was re-released in 2004 and again in 2007, featuring more new mixes. English drum and bass DJ, producer and musician Danny Byrd released his version in 2010. It is the first single released from his third album Rave Digger.

what a tune!! an altime classic, that piano and druming is awesome!! give's me goosse bumps every time!! top tune!!!!!!!!!!!
Shalizel
epic piano tune which will definitely be memorized forever. Though Phog is the track for me on this EP maybe because it was not a piano track as such and sounded ruffer and ravier.Anyway, a must have for everyone that is into this music!

one piece of vinyl that i will never ever sell ,offer me thousands sunshine ,not a chance

To call this tune a rave classic, would probably be the understatement of the millennium. Combine one of the catchiest, most recognizable piano riffs, with hardcore breaks, heavenly strings and perfect vocal sample to bring the E'd up masses together. Simply awesome.

Stu Allen radio classic!

A record so good i've commented on it twice (the original CD Maxi from 1992). To be brutally honest, I only heard these mixes a few months ago whilst looking for the Powerhouse Vs. Liquid "I've got the harmony you need" mashup from 2000, aka Liquid Love EP. These mixes, ohhh i can't decide if they are actually better than the 1992 mixes. Tall Paul and Way Out West turn out the best versions here. Particularly Way Out West. They dont tinker with it too much. The only real difference is the breakbeat is substituted for a 4/4 kick - These mixes do have that very 1995 "handbag house" sound/feel though (think along the likes of Alex Party, Livin Joy, Perfecto Allstarz, you get the idea). But gosh that breakdown is still there and its even better in their mix with some nice wails that give it a eerie but euphoric breakdown. It's already been said, that this will go down as one of the best house records ever. Simple as that. You'd be hard pushed to find anyone who hates this tune in any incarnation. Respect and a whole lotta love for this tune. This tune just feels right.

A record that will not go away. This is a modern classic and highlights how creative/effective sampling can be if done correctly. A record that crosses genres; not only in electronic circles either. The fact that this has been remixed virtually every 3-4 years since its release shows us how important this record is. It now does sound very dated, and it shows how far bedroom producers techniques have come since the early 90's when listening to this now. But that thrown together feel its all part of its charm. I can only imagine what the response to this was when it was dropped at a rave somewhere in a disused aircraft hangar. Essential record...

This is very much a record of its time, but out of all the breakbeat hardcore records released in late 1991 and through 1992, this is possibly the only one that still remains relevant. This is not just because it's built around the classic house track 'Someday' by Ce Ce Rogers, but also because of the excellent understanding of how to use the breakbeat production techniques to take the piano line into a grown up direction featuring symphonic sweeps. The 'Original Mix' is the one to go for; it's basically a full length version of the one that got played on the radio. Also look out for the excellent accompanying promo video featuring the Liquid boys and their 'crew' playing their synthesizers and dancing about in a woodland area, some swimmers diving off high cliffs, and a girl who just doesn't know how to stop dancing. Years on, this remains the best record from that genre, and is still as cool as the day you first heard it. My only gripe is the poor sound quality on the recording that suggests this should be due for the remastering or re-recording treatment - though not remixing.
