In 2014 Ellison made a guest appearance on the album Finding Love in Hell by the stoner metal band Leaving Babylon, reading his piece "The Silence" (originally published in Mind Fields) as an introduction to the song "Dead to M. Ellison married five times; each relationship ended within a few years, except the last . Jeffty Is Five" (best short story, 1977). WHEN I WAS FIVE YEARS OLD, there was a little kid I played with: Jeffty. His real name was Jeff Kinzer, and everyone who played with him called him Jeffty. We were five years old together, and we had good times playing together. When I was five, a Clark Bar was as fat around as the gripping end of a Louisville Slugger, and pretty nearly six inches long, and they used real chocolate to coat it, and it crunched very nicely when you bit into the center, and the paper it came wrapped in smelled fresh and good when you peeled off one end to hold.

Harlan Ellison is a famous American writer of short stories, essays, novels and scripts, well-known for his works in science-fiction. This biography provides information about his childhood, life, achievements and timeline. In 1977, he won a ‘Nebula Award’ again in the category ‘Best Short Story’ for his ‘Jeffty is Five’, which chronicles the life of a boy ‘Jeffty’ who never grows beyond the age of 5.
