Maybe I've forgotten the name and the address Of everyone I've ever known It's nothing I regret Save it for another day It's the school exam and the kids have run away. I would like a place I could call my own Have a conversation on the telephone Wake up every day that would be a start I would not complain of my wounded heart.

In January 2018, STOLEN travelled to Berlin to record their second album, Fragment which was again produced by Mark Reeder and Micha Adam. The band wanted to soak in the atmosphere of the city and especially its techno-club-scene and inject their impressions into their music. It was during the production of this album that Mark decided to reactivate his label MFS, especially for the release of Fragment in Europe. It was a challenging objective. Fragment was released in China in September 2018, and in Europe in early 2019 on MFS.

It was released in April 1993 as the lead single from their album of the same year, Republic. It was also the first single released under London Records following the collapse of Factory Records. The single was released in a variety of formats around the world. The B-side of the single differed in the various releases, but all were remixes of "Regret", including the "Fire Island Mix", and "Junior Dub" by Pete Heller and Terry.

second album, Closer. The rest of the band decided soon after Curtis's death that they would carry on. Prior to his death, the members of Joy Division had agreed not to continue under the Joy Division name should any one member leave. On 29 July 1980, the still unnamed trio debuted live at Manchester's Beach Club. Retrieved 28 September 2014.

I thought I'd mention that this double pack is worth getting because the Fast 'N' Throb version included on this promo is actually longer than on the commercial releases. Here on Discogs the mix is listed as being 12 minutes and 11 seconds, but it's actually 13 minutes and 40 seconds on this double pack promo (I recorded this to mp3 format, so I have the exact time). At the end of the mix on the commercial release, you can hear the Regret melody come in as the remix begins to fade if you listen carefully. Unfortunately, the songs cuts out before the melody is given any room to breathe. On this promo, the melody carries out an additional 80 seconds or so, giving the end of the remix a much more colorful and satisfying conclusion. I highly recommend picking up THIS version of the single. It's worth it!

I admit I've never heard the original album version, but a particular remix here is top-notch. I was going through some old mixtapes of mine when I heard this, which I had completely forgotten about. The Fire Island Mix (a duo consisting of legends Pete Heller and Terry Farley) is such an incredible track. Rarely ever does a record speak to me as strongly as this did when I first put it on my turntable. The classy keys and Bernard Sumner's wistful vocal make this mix a gem I'll keep in the crate for those special dancefloors.

According to my own copy of this 2x12" promo version, the Sabres Fast'n'Throb version only on this record clocks at 13:38 mins. It has a longer fade out.
