Air Waves is the moniker of Nicole Schneit, and next month she’ll release a new album titled Warrior. It’s Schneit’s third Air Waves album, and we’ve already heard the firs two singles: Morro Bay and Blue Fire. Today, Gold Flake Paint premiered the title track, which features Kevin Morby. Warrior is a song about Schneit’s mom, who underwent a battle with cancer and is currently in remission. Saddle up on your horse, get ready to go, Schneit urges at the beginning of the song, before transitioning quickly to its central message

Cornelius, the solo project by Keigo Oyamada, released his new studio album Mellow Waves on July 21. In recent years, the innovative Japanese musician and producer had worked on various projects - recording as a member of METAFIVE and creating the soundtrack for the animated series Ghost in the Shell: Arise - but the last time he released a studio album under the Cornelius moniker was 11 years ago, with Sensuous in 2006. Turns out, his much-anticipated new album was well worth the wait  . Point and Sensuous were sort of flavorless, like water and air that anybody could readily consume, whereas I intended this work to have more of a quirk.

Hey guys, I've been LOVING the CLA-2A on vo. .I usually use the SSL E channel compressor lightly and then follow that with the CLA-2A.

I remember getting it years back with a copy of Vox. I lent it to a "friend" and never got it back. A few years later I was lucky enough to find a copy at a car boot sale, only for it to melt on my dashboard later that summer :( If anyone can point me towards a digital copy of the tape I would be much obliged.
