October Rust, the fourth album by Type O Negative, was released in 1996. It is the first album to feature Johnny Kelly on drums. It is the first of the band’s albums with a joke intro ; in this case, the intro, Bad Ground, is 38 seconds of low-level buzzing, meant to sound as if the listener’s speakers are incorrectly plugged in. The second and fifteenth tracks are humorous untitled intros and outros to the album, respectively, with the band downplaying the recording of the album

Its dense, doomy sound makes for an amazing listen, alone and in company. Though it touches many themes that might strike a nerve with some of us, it is definitively not a depressive album thoughout, and you will be able to listen to it without feeling down. 2 people found this helpful.
Crowbar is the second studio album by New Orleans sludge metal band Crowbar, released on October 12, 1993. The album sold 100,000 copies on the now defunct independent label Pavement Music. The singles "All I Had (I Gave)" and "Existence Is Punishment" were played on MTV and received international attention. Crowbar was produced by Phil Anselmo, a childhood friend of Crowbar's founder Kirk Windstein and the singer of Pantera, and recorded in New Orleans in 1992.
