Doom (Original Game Soundtrack). Mick GordonSeptember 28, 2016. Soundtracks℗ 2016 Bethesda Softworks.

There’s not much of a precedent for music about settlers on Mars discovering a portal to hell, so it must have seemed like quite a unique task for Mick Gordon as he set out to compose original music for Doom. Small (maybe relevant) update: I checked that part with magnifying glasses and noticed some very faint hairline scratches, most probably caused by those black non-polylined inner sleeves. It's hard to say if it's a certain scratch which causes the skipping. A friend of mine had the same problem at the same position but for a completely different record player and system. Either more lightweight systems reveal a certain pressing fault or it's a certain part of the batch which was packed and dispatched not careful enough. Thanks for the input so far.

Please check if your copy skips or "hangs" in the last parts of track A1 (vinyl). At least a friend had that issue, too. When I first spun my copy I didn't notice. But second and third time it "hung" as well on my copy. I believe there is a pressing issue for the red translucent version since there is nothing visible on the record itself. And I believe it affects the whole batch.

You could clarify the minute, second and track in the cd version so we can know more or less were we have to check in the vinyl. I have a rega planar 1 btw, in case the quality of the turntable is revealing defects.
Burking
It's not at the end of the intro (speech), but at the end of the following track which has a metal part. Later when the track gets calm and atmospheric again (towards the end) it either skips or hangs (different for each spin).
Dagdardana
No problem on my copy too, listened to it a couple of times now and i didn't notice anything.
Brakora
just spun it for the first time, didn't notice anything. Can you clarify where exactly you notice skips/hangs? A1 is all speech so it should be easy to pinpoint
Antuiserum
Tested mine too and no issues found too, now we have to wait to see if other people have it too ^^
Vonalij
Listening to it right now. There seem to be no issues on my end either.

Well - i wet cleaned it and still have that issue. Thanks for your input anyway.
Ariseym
I just listened to the first vinyl, checked again the part you mentioned and no problems here, hopefully your issue is just static or air in the grooves, something fixable I mean.
