Chris Minh Doky (born 7 February 1969) is a Vietnamese-Danish bassist living in Copenhagen and New York City. He is the younger brother of jazz pianist Niels Lan Doky. Though Doky has worked in many genres, his main area of music is jazz. He released his first album, Appreciation, in 1989 only four years after picking up the instrument. As a sideman, he has most notably collaborated with the Mike Stern Band, Michael Brecker Quartet, Trilok Gurtu & Crazy Saints, Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sanborn.

The quartet performs three of Christian Minh Doky's originals (a couple of which hint at Danish folk songs), a number from his older brother pianist Niels Lan Doky, "Alone Together" and "When You Wish Upon A Star. This is a fine start to Christian Minh Doky's solo career.
