1987 (What the Fuck Is Going On?) is the debut studio album by British electronic band The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (the JAMs), later known as the KLF. 1987 was produced using extensive unauthorised samples that plagiarized a wide range of musical works, continuing a theme begun in the JAMs' debut single "All You Need Is Love".

Japan’s latest competitive sport, keijo, is dictated by a simple set of rules: female-only participants must stand on circular platforms floating in a pool-referred to as lands -with the goal being to knocking off opponents using only their breasts and butts. Despite this outlandish premise, the sport attracts millions of viewers across the country and boasts a lavish prize pool. Many aspiring athletes take up the challenge in hopes of becoming the next national champion. After graduating from high school, the lively 17-year-old Nozomi Kaminashi enters the world of keijo, hoping to bring home a fortune to her poor family. As a gifted gymnast, Nozomi quickly proves herself a tough competitor after stealing the spotlight in her debut tournament.

Sometimes going country is just a good business decision. According to a study by Nielsen Music, 63 percent of country album sales come from CD purchases. Country fans also tend to be older. In 2011, Billboard reported that the average country fan is 45 years old. While pop audiences are fleeting, country radio and country fans will still be there when the latest (and youngest) pop star comes along to steal the spotlight. Country Roots, Pop Grooves. Country music plays an important role in the history of American music. As pop artists move into the country realm, it could be an opportunity to showcase what makes country music unique again. Going country" has gone national. Selling crack and heroin in rural and coastal towns is now a career taken up each year by thousands of school-age children from the three major UK drug hubs of London, Liverpool and Birmingham. Today, the National Crime Agency (NCA) publishes its third report on the growing phenomenon the police call "county lines", better known to its workers as "going cunch" or "OT" (out there). Ellis's father is an immigrant from the Balkans who came to Britain in the late-90s. His mother died three years ago, and he has a younger brother. He’s got an angelic face and is heavily built: from the age of five he’s had a reputation for being a fighter who never gives up.

Keijo Portugal is a group of fans working to turn the wild sport depicted in the manga and anime into an actual event. If you are unfamiliar with Keijo!, it’s a water-based sport that involves dueling women trying to knock their opponent off a raft using only their chest and backside. The group is modifying the game to be safer and more realistic. Don’t expect to see any butt guillotines, and participants will wear padding on the impact zones to help prevent injuries. Keijo Portugal is currently in the planning stages. They are scouting interested players and venues for practice matches, with.

God knows Brad Paisley plays guitar like a motherfucker. I think country is the new rock & roll - everyone is trying to stretch out. How do the guys in Aerosmith feel about what you’re doing? I’m sure they’re not happy. But Joe has done five solo albums. Are Aerosmith ever going to record another album? Joe said recently he wasn’t sure. I don’t feel that way.

Believe it: Jessica Simpson has decamped to Nashville to begin work on her debut country album, due sometime in 2008 via Columbia Nashville. Simpson declined to name songwriting collaborators, but tells Billboard. com she will most definitely be involved in the creative process. Writing is a release for me," she says. It's a way for me to tell my story. That's not to say I wouldn't record a song that I didn't write. It's just that it has been a while since I have opened the book

New LP of avant-blues shamanism from Finlands Keijo Virtanen.
Based in Jyväskyl Keijo has been active in the improvised experimental scene for decades- he is now in his 60s- but was only really discovered by the outside world following the release of a self titled CDR in 2003. Specialising at this time in drone music created with a variety of acoustic and electronic instruments with accompanying throat singing he surprised many people by embracing- in a very idiosyncratic fashion- a primal blues styling in the later part of that decade. (A book of his blues lyrics was recently published).
Singing predominantly in English he has a one of a kind phrasing and timbre to his voice. The songs are immediate and raw, accompanied by layered electric guitars, harmonica and frequently abstract percussion...
'What Is Going In The Country' marks something of a dayglo sidestep back into the psychedelic dronescapes of his earlier work. There are blues songs aplenty but also extended periods where his muse runs off into the forest and the music becomes very abstract indeed.
